First You Take One Step

This first album is a collection of ten songs, two of which are old hymns I rearranged (“Green Pastures”, and “Christ for the World”), and the other eight are songs I wrote myself over the past few years. Our location is such that there are few opportunities to collaborate with other musicians, therefore, I played all the instruments myself and recorded it all in a little home studio in our house.

I am indebted to my beloved wife Kate for her careful and constructive criticism, which brought this music to the next level. She truly has a “golden ear” and uses it well.

It’s always a mistake for an artist to explain or describe his work, which ought to stand on its own to feet, therefore I leave it to you, the listener, to enjoy on your own terms. I hope you enjoy listening to this music as much as I have enjoyed making it!
